Reviews From fashion Island Newport Anthropologie with Nicolette

Hey all, I had a nice day with Nico. We went to Anthro in Newport Beach Fashion Island. I Didn't try on very much because there wasn't a big selection of things I wanted to try. Also, I didn't want to take forever in the fitting room with a friend there waiting on me. So I don't have a ton of pictures but a few..

I was really excited that I turned Nicolette on to Anthro! She bought the things she tried on and I left with nothing...so i was thrilled for her!

First here's what Nico got...

This silky, melted frock flows into a strapless, slightly bubbled silhouette with a charred, abstract floral print. By McGinn.

She looks incredible in this dress! I think it was made for her!

I made her buy it...The dress is made really really well, and has a beautiful silhouette and vibrant color(my camera did not do it justice) I think it fit her so well because she is tiny.

Next, Nicolette ran towards this sweater and loved it...
As pretty as Texas wildflowers, this Plenty by Tracy Reese sweater burgeons with petals and marbleized buttons beneath a lacy yoke.

She bought it because it was also made really well, and she adored all the detailing, the buttons are so cute on this!

My Turn, Too bad nothing looked great (in my opinon)

Pictureshow Dress $298.00
Flouncy embroidered asters and a shapely, pleated bodice lend Plenty by Tracy Reese's lacy frock a retro vibe.

Sadly this dress was no good on me, Like all the other reviews it is just plain weird in the bustline...I was hoping I could make it work but it's well just weird.

Ruffled trim, a kicky hem and a scalloped back are just a few of the lush vintage accents on Girls from Savoy's 40s-inspired crepe de chine shift.

I really did like this dress..the fit is pretty, except for on my long torso the bust was a little too high. Made nicely, it's fun.

Next I tried on this Ranna Gill dress that is no longer online, it reatiled for $248 but was on sale for $59 so I gave it a go...It was maybe too big or something because I felt i looked boxy...but made beautifully. Nicolette liked this one on me.

Hued of the richest shade of blue imaginable, Leifsdottir's georgette top adds a floral pouf to one shoulder and leaves the other elegantly unadorned.

I love Leifsdottir, but I did not think this blouse was worth the money at all. I love the sleeve but the material was thin, almost see through...and for that much it should be lined!

The skirt I had on with this top is a spring Ruffian skirt that was tweed, it was breath taking irl but didn't fit my hips so great..It will probably be on the web soon I think...It would look great on someone without big hips

That's all I have from today, i'm kind of bummed I didn't take more photos. But I'm going to be out shopping at Anthro more soon...and going to start making a better habit about reviewing clothes for the blog...so I hope you enjoyed looking!

I'm On A Tights Binge! More Items Added to My Cart

So after buying 3 pairs of tights from Anthro.com last night I went over to Urban Outfitters website to see what they had...No tights on sale but still some very cute pairs all for $14....I may buy them all tonight after I get home from fashion Island if I don't come home with anything.

Look how cute these all are!

Soft tights with an allover sheer crochet pattern. Made in the USA. Hand wash.

Sheer tights with an allover rose vine lace pattern. Made in the USA. Hand wash.

These next Dotted Tights I've wanted this style ever since I saw Ruffian's fashion show for fall, great style very chic...

They aren't as nice but they do the trick...I should have bought Anthropologies Ruffian Dotted Tights while I had the chance last winter...

I'm Shopping Sale, So Should You + News

Hey all, I am filling up my cart with the end of the season sale tights...I want a secong pair of the Speckled Tights since they are probably my favorite pair of tights i've ever owned. I just wanted to give a little rave about them and tell you all they are worth buying before they are gone.

I'm aslo buying these too tights, My friend from this blog emailed me and told me they were fantastic buys esp. now that they are each $4.95

In Purlple Or Navy, I'm going with Purple.

I also think this tunic from Leifsdottir is agreat find...I'm considering it. Paired with leggings and heels.

Saturday I should have a really fun post for you guys...I'm going to the Fashion Island Anthropologie store and to Betsey Johnson...My friend Nicolette and I are going to have a fashion show in the dressing rooms at both stores and take photos and do reviews for the blog. Outfit Of The Day

I bought this Fragmented Pipevine Dress $79.95 ...was $148.00 last night and as promised here are the photos of me in it today...I styled it with fence net tights and some aldo black flats..what do you think? keeper?

I really love the pattern and colors on my skin...and it's funky which is cool. The fit is fantastic too. If you see it in stores I'd say give it a try too, you might be surprised.

What I Bought

Good Morning! So Last night I went to go shopping at anthro, of course I forgot my camera....I was annoyed with myself that I left it at home. Anyway I tired on the Drifting By Dress and I loved it, But It totally washed me out...no bueno on me. I ended up shopping the sale and Bought The Vermillion Flurry Blouse, now $69.95 and I bought other sale items!

I've wanted this top since it first popped up on the website I love the old hollywood look it has. I had never tried it on until last night and it's a dream! I had to size down to a 2 because it runs loose...I recommend it to anyone who's been eyeing it....grab it now before it's gone for good! I seriously want to wear it everyday it's so beautfiul and unique. The tailoring is amazing.

I adore the sleeve shape and detail..

I also bought this quirky frock last night and will show pictures later with it styled, it looks great with my tattoo's and style. I'm thinking of puting fence net tights and flats with it in black, what do you guys think?

Fragmented Pipevine Dress

Lastly I bought Some Tokyo Milk wrapped soap and a Tokyo Milk Bon Bon Lip Balm in Rosewater.

I really recommend these soaps! They are $11.00 and worth every penny, I opened my Marie Antoinette one and used it in the shower and it really makes your skin super soft and smells incredible

I always try to buy at least one new soap from Anthro whenever I go, so that I can use them and still have nice display soaps as well. I really love how luxurious their soaps are and how luxurious they make me feel, I wish they would sell body butter!

Bon Bon LipBalm....not on the web anymore but worth the sale price of $7.95

Hope you enjoyed my post I'll be back later with the Fragmented Pipevine Dress Photos after I get ready!
