Hi. I have the Stork Club jacket in ivory and I love it! I usually wear it with nice jeans or wool pants and a "going out" top underneath. It makes any outfit stand out, and I adore the vintage look of it. It's also warm and comfortable. Over a dress, it's a bit bulky because with just the one top button the jacket isn't really fitted. But it can work.
I tried the Cerulean Swing jacket - love the color. But this has a longer and boxier shape that is a little hard to wear with skirts and dresses, I think. But maybe I'm being too picky. I'm waiting for it to go on sale (hoping it does!).

Hey Nat! I am also wanting the Night Blooming dress, but I think my husband ordered it for me for Christmas! I love it so much, especially with the Stork Club jacket that you posted. I've been eyeing up that jacket too and may have to just order it already! Did you get anything that was on sale yesterday? I didn't... and I'm also kicking myself for not getting the Painted Lotus dress when it went on sale awhile ago. Now they're all gone in my size and I'll have to start stalking it. Sigh. I've never been this addicted to anything else in my life!
lol carly you're funny. I didnt buy any sale things yet but want the seville tank badly..its so pretty. and oh man I can't wait until i get the stork club...hopefully! I want the dress that you are hoping for christmas :) but Im not sure I'll be able to buy everything I vant. im so addicted to everything in the damn store I may not buy it..out of you know impulsive buys for other things.
i know what you mean about impulsive buys... i will try to save up for something i really really want, but then i'll cave and order a couple pairs of tights and i have to start saving all over again. i ordered some xmas tree ornaments and they just arrived... they are soooooo cute and now most of them are on sale. do you decorate your place at xmas time? i love your sense of style (fashion AND your house)... i imagine if you did decorate it would be so creative :)
I have the Night Blooming Dress. I went into Anthro yesterday to try on the Hollyhock dress on sale and left with the Night Blooming dress which wasn't on sale. I'm trying to restraint myself, so there were not many sale dresses that caught my eye. But when I went into the fitting room, I saw it on the "only onesie" rack and I thought I would try it on since everyone was raving about it.
The dress is very pretty. The silk top is beautiful. I didn't think it would work for me because a lot of the reviews said that there was a lot of fabric on the top if the bottom fit. I tried on my usual size 2 and the fit was perfect. There was only 2 left in the store, one size 0 and one size 2. I figured it was fate, so the dress came home with me.

The Cerulean swing coat is at the top of my list. I have not tried it on yet, but I hear it has a boxy fit. I think it will look great with skinny jeans. Hope to scoop it up when it goes on sale...plus soooo many other items on my wishlist. :-)
AHH!!! you got the bustling avenues dress. OMG I LOVE IT!! The orange is so great. And yes, you must get the night blooming dress. Same style but different effect. The orange pops more and is more creative/artistic. And the night blooming one is more romantic and soft. Just my opinion of course!
I really wanted the Night Blooming Dress. The 0 didn't fit right around my hips despite it being perfect on top. The 2 didn't fit on top, but was perfect on bottom.
I'm still agonized on whether I should just get it and have it altered to fit. But I just bought the Dandelion Wish Dress, so I guess I can't have everything I want.
Or can I?
No... that's a bad way line of thought to follow.
Carly! oh me and impulsiveness..eh 2nd nature...I was trying to decorate today, but I dont have much..and I have never bought any anthro ornaments surprisingly..I wanted the ocopus one really bad...but maybe I'll take a photo of the tree or somthing..thanks for loving my sence of style! BIG Compliment!! I feel like my photos come out terrible though..well cause they do!
Diem, I think it was meant to be! I saw that dress too at the store but couldn't try it on..only size 0 and 10 there..I want to try it though I know I'll love it since I love the orange one

Tien I know how you feel about the fit, I had the 2 and it was perfect in the top but the 4 to big (in this orange dress) I havent tried on the night blooming yet. But bought the 4 any way because i can wear a padded bra and make my c's d's lol. I'd buy it if you love it and have it tailored! But sometimes it's ok to pass on a dress that doesen't fit, then you can get a new rad dress from anthro in january when the new ones come out!
