Do You Have An Anthro Item That You've Been Searching For?

Hey Everyone, Are there any past items of clothing from Anthropologie that you've been searching for? Because I'm going to be hunting deep on ebay today...and I want to know what people want or need so I can look for it along with my own wants...

If you've been longing for that missed item, let me help you try to find it today...

I already have on my list the globemallow dress in size xs or s for one of my readers whom I can't recall, and I have Kim's Black Elevenses Coat on the list...Leave me a comment with the name and a description of your item, or you can email me a photo (that would be helpful) If you have one..Rosefever@aol.com

Here's the piece I can't find but want so badly! If any of you all see this one on the web for sale again please let me know

Elevenses "Pearl Overcoat "

I'm dying for this amazing coat...it was featured in the November 2007 Giving catalog.

Is there an archive for old Anthro catalogs? Sometimes I am looking for an older item and I have completely forgotten what the name of it was.

Anthropologie Addict: Natalie said...

No there's no archive really..Do you have any photos or a description? Or what brand? I could figure out alot with a little..

I have seen this pop up on eBay several times over the last year! (Though never for very cheap, usually well over $100+) Hopefully it will come again.

Hi Natalie,

I would love to find the Beaded Slim Scarf in Lilac... I regret I didn't buy it! Let me know if you see it, I never found it on eBay.

Sandrine: I've added the scarf to my list, that sucks that they have it for sale in yellow and blue still..

Oooh that coat is gorgeous. TeriLynn, I am actually working on building an archive of old catalogs. It's going a bit slower than I would like but I hope to have it done for October 1. It won't be anywhere near complete but it will be a start. :)

Natalie, that coat is gorgeous! I've gotten in the habit of checking ebay everyday to see all the new "anthropologie" items that have been added in the last 24 horus, assuming that eventually I will see everything that gets posted. I will definitely keep an eye out for the pearl overcoat for you--any particular size?

Kim said...

Natalie - thank you so much for keeping an eye out for me for my coat!! I'm also looking for Odille's Silk Leaf Print Blouse (pic on my blog). I scour eBay, literally, everday, so I'll keep my eyes out for your coat!

I was looking for a dress that was in two years ago fall/holiday catalog. For some reason I think it may have been the cover dress but it was charcoal gray and may have had the name evening in it, real specific I know :-) It was one of those things that you admire at the time and swear you will remember for Ebay and now of course I can't.

Anthropologie Addict: Natalie said...

Al: Thanks! I'm trying to start doing the same thing-chack new everyday...If you find it, I'd need a small or medium, or large..if I had to I'd get it taken in, I love it..

Anthropologie Addict: Natalie said...

Teri: What else can you remeber about the dress, color is good but I need a bit more- what was the Fabric like? Was there any embellishments? ruffles? short, long, mid leength? anything you can tell me will help..

My missed item is the Moulinette Soeurs galaxy of dots dress in a size 4 or 6. I was pregnant when this dress came out and it was sold out by the time I could fit into regular clothes again!

Anonymous, you can still find the Budding Romance skirt in stores, here's the style # 923106. Call cust service and give them that # and have them search for stores that have it. THey'll find it and give you the store sku for when you call the store. I did see a size 6 at the Kierland AZ store a few days ago--that skirt is so beautiful. I hope you find one.

Ladies looking for the Honey Peplum skirt, give Customer Service a call, they will check all stores and let you know if any have your size. Then they can ship to you.

Carly - I remembered you said you wanted the Daphne Sweatercoat when I posted mine - my eyes are peeled on Ebay for you as well.

I've been stalking eBay for the Jam Jar Cardigan by Twig from last winter size S or XS....

Anonymous said...

To the person looking for the jam jar cardigan, I've been looking for a while too until I noticed that Leifsdottir has a really similar ,super cute cardigan this fall. Check it out:

http://www1.bloomingdales.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=436374&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results

I've never seen it in person, but its probably very good quality since it's Leifsdottir.

Hi Natalie,
Can you help me search for the Seven Seas Tweed skirt by Elevenses? I would need a size 2 or I'd even take a 4 or 6 and get it altered. It was from Fall 2005. I see them pop up every once in a while on ebay but they are always larger sizes. I'll email you a picture of it so you know what it looks like.
Thanks!

Hi Natalie - I am searching for the gold mini skirt from last fall/winter but I don't know the designer or price - it an almost origami shape with tulip hem AND I would love the gray cardigan from last year with layers of ruffles along the back - price was $458.00. Thanks!

Hi

This is such a great blog. It's one of the few blogs i check daily. Thanks for creating the e-catalog as it really helps in getting those items we miss out on.

I had a quick question about the 2nd image in the sidebar of you blog. I really love her lace blouse. Would you happen to know when the image is from (what catalog) and what the name/company that made it is?

Thanks!

Anthropologie Addict: Natalie said...

Thankyou so much! All I know about the second pivture is it's from an autum 2006 catalog, and the shirt is actually a strapless sweater corset with another blouse underneath it... hope that helps some..

Anonymous said...

Thanks so much for the info! I'll keep that in my Anthro research list! =)

Whenever I spot an item on Ebay which I can't remember the name or brand of, it makes me kick myself that I threw away so many catalogs from Anthro.

Anywho, great reading the posts and good luck on finding the pearl overcoat! I'll certainly let you know if I see it.

I am dying for the Sevenses Leaf coat in size 12 or 14....I saw one on ebay today, size zero - would never work for me, but would really appreciate any help in procuring this item. I think it was fall 08, but could be earlier.....

thanks so much !!

Looking for the Tawny Garden Dress in a 0/2.

Natalie--Did you ever try the Pearl Overcoat on? Mine is a 2, and it fits pretty tight. FYI I'm a 32 bust and a 25 inch waist, so it definitely ran small. I hope you find one.

I'm also looking for a dress from 2005, with orange poppies over it. It's two pieces, and the slip has the same print as the outer silk piece. It's from In The Now.

Also, looking for a Lu Lu Lame green cashmere cardigan with flower applique. One came on ebay recently, but went for over 200$.

There were a pair of boots anthro had years ago, called the Seamstress boots by Kenzie. I'd like a pair in a 7 or 7.5.

Thanks,
lazymountain@gmail.com

adiaphanie, thanks for the heads up on the pearl overcoat, i'd need at least a 6 then, I'm 34 bust and 27.5 waist so yeah. I'll put your items on a list to look out for. I found this green sweater you may like its cute..

Thanks for the link, Natalie! You're right, I do like that sweater. I bought it the moment I saw it in the store!

I put the overcoat on again. It's not as tight as I remember it, but definitely tight around the waist.

Good luck and I hope you find it. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it.

Hello. I'm looking for Tawny Garden Dress, Fruit Moon Dress, and Yacht Club Dress. If you see them in a size 6 or 8 let me know. Hope you find your coat! I'll keep an eye out for it.

Anthropologie Addict: Natalie said...

Hey emily I'll keep an eye out for those for you. I saw the tawny garden but it was a size 10 or somthing larger than 10, I found the coat this morning! It's a 4 and I wear a 4, but I heard it runs small. but im still going for it. hope I win the auction..

Emily said...

Yeah I think I saw the one you mean. It's a size 12, so that wouldn't work unfortunately. Congrats on finding the coat! Good luck on winning the auction.

I'm searching for the Blustery Day Dress in size 10. I should have gotten it a couple of years ago. It was in a spring or summer catalog and was a blue on white leaf print by Tracy Reese (maybe Plenty, not sure!). It had wood toggle buttons. Thanks! Great blog!

Hi Natalie,

I'm also looking for the Budding Romance skirt -- I've managed to find a few, but am not sure about the size. I normally wear a 0-2. In your experience, does the skirt run small to the point where someone my size might take a 4? I think I remember you saying you had one -- did you find that it ran really small? I'm afraid the smallest of the ones I've found will still be too big. =(

In the meantime, if you ever find this skirt in a 0 or a 2 (if the comments about it running really small are to be believed, 2 might be better), please do let me know! Feel free to comment here or drop me an email.

Thanks a ton!

There was a comforter or quilt that has these pillows with a large butterfly or dragonfly kind of diagonal across the pillow. BEAUTIFUL. I want to say it couldnt be any earlier than 2005 that I saw it. Most likely 2006. I CANT find the proper name of the set nor can I find a picture of it to remember how beautiful it was. COULD YOU HELP ME LOCATE SOMETHING LIKE THAT????

Hi, Natalie,

I love this idea! I am a complete Anthro addict, I have been searching for the Chie Mihara Ote Suede Noisemakers oxford shoes for so long as well as the yacht club dress. If you have any luck finding it please email me at Otant17@gmail.com, thanks! I'll keep an eye out for the coat you're looking for.
