Great post! I love reminiscing through my old catalogs. I also have the Storybook skirt pictured (the one with the chairs on it). It is my absolute favorite Anthro skirt & lots of people comment on it because it is so different. ~ Athena
Ditto on loving the old catalog pics. This is the Anthro I love! The stuff from 2002-2007 is definitely my favorite. I wish they would revisit some of the styles, prints, etc. I picked up the scenic skirt pictured in this post (the green one with the village scene) on ebay and love it. I am looking to get more of the older stuff that I missed out on than the newer stuff, for sure!
These old catalog pics make me wish I could go back in time.
I loved the pieces from those old catalogs. I was obsessed with their skirts back then. My favorite Anthro piece is the pink skirt with black vertical ribbons. I don't remember the name of it but the catalog it came from had an Alice in Wonderland theme. The skirt selections nowadays has not been as intriguing as those from back then.
beautiful beautiful beautiful! i treasure my old catalogs...total works of art. i see that chair skirt on ebay every few weeks and am always tempted to get it...
annie cat -- i have that anthro skirt! i love it :) i agree with you on their skirts being gorgeous back in the day...they're a little plainer/less romantic now sadly.
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a picture that came out in anthropologie it was around 2004 or so and it is of a girl on a bed wearing a top hat
Hi Natalie! I just wanted to thank you for the Anthro catalog archives as they're immensely helpful in finding items from years' past. I just purchased a skirt that I think is from the Fall 2004 catalog, but I can't find it anywhere online. Could you tell me the name of it? Here's a picture:

I think it may be called the Decoy Dots Skirt, but have no idea.
Thanks for your help!
